Ocusoft Lid Foaming Eyelid Cleanser

We now carry 2 sizes in the lid foaming cleanser: 7.25 fl oz (the large bottle) and a 50ml (travel size). The travel size is TSA approved & can be put into your carry on luggage.

Although many of my patients have found other uses for this lid foaming cleanser, we use it specifically for anterior blepharitis (inflammation on the area where the eyelash attaches to the eyelid) and to control posterior blepharitis (inflammation on the ridge of the eyelid margins lined with oil glands).

Many contact lens wearing find that wearing comfort and time improves when the lid foam cleanser is used twice a day. It's great for contact lens wearers!

DIRECTIONS FOR OUR PATIENTS:

1) Apply 1 pump of foaming cleanser to clean fingertips (or cotton pad).

2) Close your eyes (this is not for cleaning the inside of the eyes).

3) Rub the foaming cleanser in a side-to-side motion on both eyelids for about 10 seconds.

4) Concentrate on the area where the eyelash meets the base of the eyelid.

5) Repeat morning and night.

Ocusoft makes the lid cleanser in 2 formulations: a foaming cleanser (our preference for better penetration and ease of use), and packets of pre-wetted scrubs which tends to more drying around the gentle tissues around the eye. The choice is yours.
